Kevin McClam, a 14-year-old boy, went missing on March 30, 1997, from the Naval Weapons Station military base near Goose Creek, South Carolina. His mother, Tracey, noticed his absence on Easter Sunday when he didn't show up for a meal. Base security initially dismissed Kevin as a runaway, despite no evidence to support this theory. Two days after his disappearance, Kevin's clothes were found spray-painted along a dirt road near a construction site. A year later, a search involving 140 individuals, including divers and sniffer dogs, was conducted, but no trace of Kevin was found. In May 2005, a credible tip led the case to be reclassified as a homicide investigation. The NCIS felt confident that there was going to be an arrest within the month but to date no one has been held responsible and we still don’t know what happened to Kevin.
