Cold and Missing: The Blue Ridge Bank Murders

On May 16, 2003, a shocking crime unfolded at Blue Ridge Savings Bank in Greer, South Carolina. Sylvia Holtzclaw, the head teller known for her dedication to her community, was working a full day due to a coworker’s illness. Tragically, she, along with Dr. James ‘Eb’ Barnes and his wife Maggie Barnes, were murdered during a robbery. Despite the presence of a silent alarm and security footage, the perpetrator - or perpetrators- managed to escape, leaving the police and FBI with few clues. A red car captured on a nearby gas station's camera and an array of leads failed to resolve the case. Over time, various suspects came under scrutiny, but none were definitively linked to the crime. Join Ali and Eli as they go through the case.
